About Boston College

Boston College is one of the oldest Jesuit, Catholic universities in the United States. Established in 1863, the university is located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. In 2016, U.S. News & World Report ranked Boston College 31st among national universities. Boston College confers more than 4,000 degrees annually in more than 50 fields of study through 8 schools and colleges. Each year, BC enrolls some 2,200 students in the freshman class.
