About University of Lynchburg
On July 1, 2018, Lynchburg College became the University of Lynchburg. A private university of 2800 students, the new name more accurately reflects our dedication to high-quality academics on the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as growth in graduate programs. Vision2020, the University’s strategic plan, expands on Lynchburg's recognized strengths in active learning, experiential learning, Division III athletics, and student leadership.
