What Makes Us Special

About Middlebury College

Founded in 1800, located in the Champlain Valley of central Vermont with the Green Mountains to the east and the Adirondack Mountains to the west, Middlebury College offers a scenic setting and a rigorous liberal arts curriculum that is particularly strong in environmental studies, international studies, languages, sciences and literature. The small size of classes and a prevalence of independent research among seniors allow Middlebury’s faculty to work closely with students on academic projects.
