About St. John's University

Founded in 1870, St. John's is a Catholic and Vincentian University dedicated to fostering academic excellence without bounds. The University has three New York City campuses and one in Rome; an academic center in Paris; and study abroad locations in Spain and around the world. Students come from 47 states and 123 countries. In athletics, St. John's is New York City's home team, with 17 Division I, BIG EAST men's and women's squads.
